Are you healthy? How do you know that?

The most objective criterion for judging one's health is the index number.

1 Normal heart rate: 60-80 beats/min

A healthy adult's heart rate ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute.

Waist circumference is another index used to reflect the degree of obesity. It is a comprehensive index reflecting total fat and fat distribution. The correlation between waist circumference and visceral fat accumulation in abdomen is better than waist-hip ratio. WHO recommends that the waist circumference of males > 94 cm and females > 80 cm be taken as the criterion of obesity, but this criterion is suitable for European population. For the Asian-Pacific region, including the Chinese population, it is suggested that the waist circumference of men > 90 cm and women > 80 cm should be used as the criteria for obesity. Correct measurement methods should be used in waist circumference measurement.

Measured persons take vertical standing posture, the feet are separated naturally about 30 cm, so that the body weight is evenly distributed, breathing smoothly and inhalation is avoided. Examiners use a flexible ruler with a minimum scale of 1 mm, which is inelastic. At the midpoint of the line between the highest point of the iliac crest and the lower edge of the twelfth rib, they circle the abdomen along the horizontal direction, keeping all parts of the flexible ruler. Measure in a horizontal position, close to the skin without pressing it. The measurement is accurate to 1 mm.

Most elderly people walk at speeds of 0.8-0.9 meters per second. Those who walk at speeds below 0.6 meters per second are more likely to die, while those who walk faster than 1 meter per second live longer.

12 Normal Body Temperature: 36 37 C
